The 20 houseguests got together in the private Purple Spork lounge at JFK Airport and looked around. There was something...not normal...about this.
Valerie got up in front of the crowd and surveyed them. They'd do, for her new Big Brother game. It wasn't supposed to be easy, but these 20 had proven themselves in some form or fashion.
"Welcome to Purple Spork Productions' newest game, BIG BROTHER CONTINENTAL," she said, smiling. A few of the people in the audience picked their nails or twirled their hair. It wasn't reassuring in the least.
"You will be divided into 4 houses of 5, until some indeterminate time in the future when I say otherwise. Your houses have been pre-determined. When I call your name, come up to receive your boarding pass, which will tell you your location."
"Cash."
The 17 year old boy got up and received a one way ticket to Madrid, Spain.
"Luke."
The 15 year old boy got up and received a one way ticket to Berlin, Germany.
"Kevin."
The 17 year old boy got up and received a one way ticket to Rome, Italy.
"Monique."
The 22 year old lady got up and received a one way ticket to Paris, France.
This continued on until the houses looked like this:
Berlin: Luke, Joe, Lindsey, Jay, Jordan
Paris: Monique, Jon, Ryan, Nina, David
Madrid: Cash, Phill, Landon, Veronica, Alex M.
Rome: Richie, Alex R., Kevin, JD, John
They got aboard their planes, and jetted off into the evening sky.

Once in their houses, the houseguests noticed a nifty feature called KARMA. They could give a karma point or take it away from someone. Some messed around with it, while others left it be to go associate with others. Friendships and hatredships formed, and finally, it came time for the first Head of Household competition.
They were told that there would be 4 Heads of Household, 4 sets of nominees, and 4 evictees this week, until some indeterminate time in the future.
Their goal, in the challenge entitled Karma Chameleon, was to have the highest karma in their house.
Some people set to work smiting people, while others exalted people. In the end...
LANDON
JORDAN
RICHIE
and JON came out victorious for their respective houses. Who will they nominate? Who will be evicted? Find out on Continental House Calls!

Madrid House
Cash caused a ruckus after Head of Household, when he found out that four people would be evicted the first round, one from each house. He was promptly removed and replaced with STEPHEN, who was told that he would be exempt from that week's nominations.
Landon nominated Alex M. and Phill.
In a 2-0 vote, PHILL was the first person evicted from Madrid.
Paris House
The Head of Household, Jon, decided to nominate David and Monique, citing their semi-inactivity and lack of motivation in the game.
In a 2-0 vote, MONIQUE was the first person evicted from Paris.
Rome House
Richie, as Head of Household, had to make a hard choice, considering Rome was the most active of the four houses. He nominated Alex R. and John for eviction, and the vote was tied.
In the tiebreaker vote by Richie, ALEX R. was the first person evicted from Rome.
Berlin House
It was pretty obvious to the entire game that Luke was annoying the crap out of some of his fellow houseguests (even from other houses!). He had spammed his journal to receive more Euros. He had gotten into a fight with Veronica of the Madrid house in the General Talk area.
And Jordan, being Head of Household, decided to put Luke up against the newly active Jay.
In a 2-0 vote, LUKE was the first evicted from the Berlin house.
16 are left, who will be evicted next week?
