Well, I was starting out the challenge with a nice lead, I was in Room 4 and it appeared that no one else was viewing rooms other than 1. However, I got a bit sidetracked (and remembered that I didn't want HoH ) and a bunch of people caught up to me after almost ten minutes. I could've easily won the challenge, but I decided against it. That is quite odd, though, that I was actually throwing the challenge when I had somewhat of a lead because normally people will be kicking my ass in areas and missions such as these. But, I think I managed somewhat of a head start.
On the idea of strategy, I am really laying low which needs to change FAST. I have spoken with Jon a touch, just enough to confirm somewhat of a friendship. I am confident that any alliance with Jon wil not be successful since Jon doesn't talk to anyone in the group other than myself. For this reason, I am a bit frightened that he will be evicted. I want him to stay this round, and hopefully the next round as well. This way he'll make the jury stage and I'll certainly have one extra vote if I make the finals (which is surely a LONG way away). I talked to Nina towards the beginning, not much since. I chat with Jordan every day or so, and Joe not as often, but we still touch base.
My objective for the future: assemble somewhat of an alliance for down the road when we reach final eight. I need to instill friendships with people which will be used to get me to that stage in the future. Then, I wil enact these friendships to instill an alliance of five which can be used to eliminate the other three. In a final five position, a sub-alliance of three will dominate while I keep friendships with the other two in the case that they receive the power.
Of course, I am overly naive. I honestly don't think that this game has its own "Timothy O." or "Tymie" or anything to that effect, I think everyone is playing their cards low. OBVIOUSLY, as I said before, I am naive and someone MUST be playing me and everyone else as well. Suspect: Jordan. He's a great and fun guy, and seems very true of heart, but everyone must have a secret incentive, I mean c'mon, this is ORG:BB.
I have a lot of work ahead of me, but the only important future step for the time being is get myself 4 solid friendships for an alliance down the road and to keep me in the game until that point while getting a feel for who all has alliances and such that U need to discover and dismember.
I truly don't care who leaves in the next three rounds, but I can hope my one actual ally, Jon, can stay in although it is doubtful. His only chance is to get someone truly against Richie to keep him in this week. Then, we'll need someone from one of our linked houses to win HoH. Again, Jon's social skills aren't overly strong, so this will be a stretch to keep him in to the jury stage. I can step out to watch his back and keep him in, but not only would that get Richie against me in the case that Jon goes, but I'm playing too strongly which can put a target on my back and clearly reveal me having an alliance with Jon.
I hope this can make up for my near inactivity in terms of posting as of late.
